An English fine 18-carat gold gentleman’s pocket watch with engraved family crest, circa 1900. The watch showcases an 18-carat gold engine-turned case with an engraved family crest. It also features a reeded band and a gold dome with a case maker’s punch mark AS. The enamel dial is signed and displays radial Roman numerals, auxiliary seconds, and blued spade hands. The watch is equipped with a 2/3 plate movement that is frosted and gilt. It has screwed gold chatons, a gold screw compensation balance, a diamond endstone on the balance, and a free-sprung balance spring.
