A quality skeletonized verge pocket watch made by Jones in London, England, circa 1770. The fine case of this watch is crafted from gilt, has chased rims and is glazed on both sides. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, Arabic five minute numerals and possibly original hands. The numbered and elaborately decorated, skeletonized movement has a verge escapement.
