A fine gold Swiss, enamel pearl-set and centre-seconds pendant watch, At the Spinning Wheel Geneva, circa 1790. Pearl-set bezel, the back finely painted with an oval scene of a courting couple seated in an Arcadian landscape, within a paillon frame on a translucent blue guilloché enamel ground, pearl-set border. Hinged frosted gilt metal cuvette. White enamel dial, upright Arabic numerals, outer minute/seconds track. Gold ovoid hands. Engraved gilt brass movement, standing barrel, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, index regulator.
