A fine Swiss 18K gold and enamel open faced key-wind pocket watch with cylinder escapement, circa 1790. Accompanied by a Habsburg, Feldman Certificate of Authenticity dated 31 May 1989. The enamel reverse with a Roman garden scene of a poet reading from a book in the company of two captivated maidens, decorated blue enamel band and bezel. White enamel dial, fancy Arabic numerals, outer minutes with quarter-hour numerals, aperture for the winding and gold pierced spade hands. Gilt bar movement, cylinder escapement, gilt three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator.
