A very fine and rare English 22K yellow gold and moss-agate pocket watch with matching chatelaine and charm, circa 1760. A Louis XV case, the bezel and back moss-agate with gold scalloped borders, four moss-agate links on the matching chatelaine, all cast gold rocaille decoration, two matching smaller decorations on the side with transparent moss-agate, one with an agate set charm of a boot. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and blued steel poker and beetle hands. Hinged gilt brass full plate movement with column pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, silver English pierced and engraved cock, silver dust cap. Dust cap and movement signed.
