An English large silver triple cased verge pocket watch, circa 1740. Full plate fire gilt verge movement, finely pierced and engraved bridge cock and footplate, silver regulator disc, square pillars, fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel set-up between the plates.
Protective leather and gilt outer case with decorative pin decoration, plain 2nd case, movement signed Ant. Leris.
Silver champlevé dial, midsection with scrolls and mask, Roman hours, Arabic outer minutes, decorative steel hands.
