Extremely rare English repoussé paircased verge watch with alarm by Ellicott London, circa 1740. The 1st case repoussé, prime quality, pierced, relief on back, surrounded by four cartouches with different portraits, face with different animals, 2nd case also pierced, tendrils and birds, small imperfection, bell, signed verge movement with simple cylindrical pillars, engraved barrel drum, alarm on bell, enamel dial in very good condition, beautiful hands, roman numerals, steel alarm hand, very beautiful condition.
