A fine and extremely rare French, platinum and sapphire split second chronograph pocket watch, circa 1925. Very rare extra flat pocket watch in platinum and sapphire in a round open faced case. The case and bow are set with sapphires. Silver dial with Roman numerals, subdials for seconds and minutes and blued steel hands. Manual mechanical movement with column wheel and rattrapante function. Lever escapement. Signed dial.
