Dial watch with pearls on both sides
–
An extravagant gold enamel dial watch with pearls on both sides, probably made in Geneva, Switzerland, circa 1790. The open faced rare shaped case was crafted from 18 Carat pink gold, is decorated with big gold balls, has halves of pearls on both sides, a fly spring mechanism, pendant release, and a fine enamel painting on the back. The white enamel dial has an outer ring with black Arabic numerals for the hours and a blued Breguet hour hand (minute hand is missing).
