A French 18 carat yellow gold minute repeating dress watch made by Cartier in Paris, circa 1925. An open faced keyless plain case with a blue enamel inlay monogram M on the case back. Minute repeating on gongs with two polished steel hammers, activated by a slide on the band. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, outer minute track and blued steel hands. A movement with a lever escapement, 29 jewels, the movement is signed European Watch & Clock Co., Inc. Signature on the dial by Cartier.
