A fine Swiss, 18K yellow gold, keyless, dress pocket watch with a two-tone dial, circa 1938. A polished case, the back with engraved monogram, the interior with further engraved inscription. Two-tone silver dial with applied yellow gold baton indexes and Arabic quarter-hour numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Yellow gold feuille hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with five adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
