A fine Swiss gold pocket watch with taille-douce engraving, circa 1845.
Signed gilt movement. Gold case, back engraved in taille douce, reeded band, chased and engraved bezels, and a hinged gold cuvette. Engraved on the front of the case above women: CANOVA. Enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track, and decorative gilt hands.
