A large skeletonized top quality lépine with striking mechanism, made by Breguet & Fils in Paris, France, circa 1820.
The case of this pocket watch is crafted from 18 Carat gold and engine turned on the back lid and has a coined band. The skeletonized dial has a white enamel chapter ring with black Arabic numerals for the hours and blued steel Breguet hands. The skeletonized numbered movement of extremely rare high quality, has gongs in snake shape, a cylinder escapement and a quarter repeater.
