A French 18 carat gold open-faced pocket watch with a chatelaine set with diamonds, circa 1880. It has a gilt movement with crown winding, cylinder escapement, a blued balance spring, and an index to adjust advance and delay. The white enamel dial shows Roman numerals for hours, Arabic numerals for minutes, stylized hands, and a railroad minute track. The round case has the back and bezel fully set with diamonds. Gold cuvette signed Dumoret 5 Rue de la Paix Paris. A slide on the edge adjusts the hours and minutes.
