Gold lady’s watch with verge escapement

An attractive, gold, enamel and pearl-covered dial pocket watch, circa 1790. Sprung hinged, mirrored front and reverse with mauve royal enamel central plaque over engine-turning to outer green and white decoration, the band with 34 revolving pearls secured in a loop. White enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer minute track, aperture for winding at two positions. Blued steel Breguet hands. Gilt full plate movement, turned pillars, fusee barrel, verge escapement, pierced and engraved continental cock with steel endplate, regulator dial.
