A very fine Swiss, keyless, 18K yellow gold pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph and register, circa 1915. A solid, polished case, curved bezel, button at 11 for the split-seconds, button in the crown for the start/ stop and return-to-zero function of the chronograph. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and fifths of a second division, Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds and 30-minute register. Gold spade hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 27 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial and cuvette signed.
