A French 18 carat yellow gold, key wind, open faced pocket watch made by Baltazar in Paris, circa 1790. It features a signed cock movement with a verge escapement. The white enamel dial displays Roman numerals for the hours, an outer railway minute track with Arabic numerals every five minutes, Louis XV style hands, and a winding square between 3 and 4 o’clock. The case is smooth yellow gold.
