A French 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch made by Roc, circa 1920. It has a mechanical movement with a lever escapement, but it is not working. The silvered dial shows stylised black Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer railway minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and blued steel spade hands. The signature ROC is printed at the centre of the dial. The 18 carat yellow gold case is decorated with elegant guilloché bands and shows minimal wear with a small shock. The watch has a fluted crown and a rounded bow at 12 o’clock.
