A rarity early cylinder watch with minute repeater, made by Carton Pharmacien in Brunehamel, Aisne, France, circa 1810. The open faced plain case of this watch was crafted from 18 Carat gold and has French gold punches. The very beautiful white enamel dial with small golden fleur de lys decorations at the hours, original steel and pink gold hour hand and a replaced and restored minute hand. The movement has an extremely rare caliber, a cylinder escapement, a diamond end stone and a minute repeater.
