A French verge pocket watch in a gilt metal open-faced case set with an erotic polychrome enamel scene, circa 1820. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Pierced and engraved bridge cock with polished steel coqueret, plain three-arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Gilt regulator dial with steel indicator. Wound through the signed white enamel painted dial, black Arabic numerals, gilt Breguet hands. Gilt metal open-faced case. Open the back cover and you see a hidden polychrome enamel erotic scene of a couple.
