A rare French gold pendant watch with painted polychrome enamel scenes, circa 1650. This watch, called The Nativity, features a polychrome enamel painted scene on the case depicting the Virgin Mary and The Child Jesus. The band is painted with vignettes, and the insides are decorated with polychrome enamel scenes. The watch has an enamel dial and a gilt movement with verge escapement.
