A French decorative cylinder watch in a fine gold and champlevé enamel case, circa 1830-1840. Round shaped 18 Carat yellow gold case. Case back and bezel engraved and polychrome enamelled in champlevé with a decoration of friezes and foliages on the background. Silver guilloché engine turned dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes, and Breguet hands. Key winding, gilded brass movement with going barrel, cylinder escapement, monometallic balance and blued steel flat hairspring.
