A French 22K gold and enamel open faced verge pocket watch à troi couleurs with a corresponding chatelaine, circa 1790.
Chased and engraved case, the band worked in three-coloured gold decoration, a polychrome enamel painting on the back. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals and gold poker & beetle hands. Full plate movement, keywind, chain and fusee, three-arm brass balance. Movement signed and numbered. Comes with a matching gold and enamel chatelaine.
