A French 18 carat yellow gold and enamel painted keywind open faced pocket watch, circa 1790. This watch features a cock movement with a verge escapement. It has a white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, a black outer minutes track with Arabic five minute numerals, a winding aperture at 2 o’clock, and stone set decorative hands. The case is made of 18 carat yellow gold and is adorned with a polychrome enamel painted gallant scene.
