An attractive French 18 carat gold enamel open faced keywind pocket watch with pearl rim, circa 1790. The watch has a cock movement with verge escapement. It has a white enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals forming the hours, an outer minutes track with Arabic fifteen minute numerals, and filigree hands (The glass is missing.) The gold case is decorated with polychrome enamel painted pastoral scene, and a pearl set bezel.
