A French quarter repeating cylinder watch converted to lever watch with guilloché silver dial in an 18 carat gold open faced case, circa 1820. Keywind full plate gilt Lepine calibre movement. Plain cock with polished steel regulator and compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Guilloché silver dial, Roman numerals, blue steel Breguet hands. Engine-turned gold open faced case, wound and set through the gilt metal cuvette. Engine turned back cover. Push pendant for quarter repeating on two polished steel gongs. Slide to the band to block the pendant.
