An exquisite, French hours and quarters repeating pocket watch, probably with original box, circa 1820. This watch features an engine-turned 18k pink gold case with a dome signed, numbered, and inscribed as Eleve de Breguet. The cylinder movement has repeating hours and quarters. The engine-turned, signed silver dial has a decentralized chapter ring, Roman numerals, and Breguet steel hands. It comes with an original box and spare glass.
