A fine 14 carat gold French hour repeating clock watch with hour self-strike and striking at will, circa 1810. The full plate gilt quality verge movement with dust ring features self-striking hours on a bell, as well as the ability to repeat hours at will by simply pushing a small button on the pendant. This elegant trip-repeating mechanism is a testament to the craftsmanship. The movement also boasts two barrels, a pierced and engraved balance cock with polished steel coqueret, and a silver regulation disc.
White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, gilt decorative hands, solid gold inner case with engraved bezels polished case back. The gilt outer case is covered with horn and holes to release the sound. Winding through the front.
