A rare, very big, early one hand French Oignon (watch) with mock pendulum and champlevé dial, circa 1700.
Decorated silver case with central winding. Fire-gilt verge movement with very big verge bridge and mock pendulum, very high pillars, main plate signed and engraved protection ring for balance. Signed champlevé dial with cartouches, Roman numerals and probably original blued iron hand.
