A rare, early French cylinder pocket watch with a minute repeater, made for Carton Pharmacien à Brunehamel, circa 1810.
Polished 18K pink gold case with French gold hallmarks. Signed dome. Beautiful enamel dial with Breguet-style radial hours, outer minutes track, small golden Fleur-de-Lys decorations, original steel and pink gold hour hand, replaced and restored minute hand. Movement is from extremely rare calibre with cylinder escapement, diamond endstone, and minute repeater.
