A large and heavy French verge pocket watch repeater with date, in excellent condition, circa 1810. An 18 carat pink gold case with a reeded midsection. The case, movement, and dome all have matching numbers. It features a signed fire gilt verge movement with a repeating mechanism for hours and quarters, as well as a peripheral bolt for a muting device. The white enamel dial features a subsidiary dial for date indication, Arabic numerals, and blued steel hands.
