A French rare brooch watch, circa 1820.
The tapered case is exquisitely ornamented and rich in detail. The dial is flanked by two stylized, rectangular pillars engraved with flower scrolls and rams’ heads.
Brass firegilt case with glazed back; white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and a heart-shaped movement, florally engraved, keywind, chain/fusee, verge escapement and a ring balance.
