A small quarter repeating French pocket watch with cylinder escapement, circa 1820.
The engine-turned case is 18 carat gold with a case maker’s punch mark “AG”; the engine-turned dial is silver with Roman numerals and  blued Breguet hands; the movement is Lépine” caliber with  2 hammers / 2 gongs and a  three-arm brass balance. Dial is signed.
