A French 18 carat three tone gold keywind open faced verge pocket watch from the Louis XVI period, circa 1790. The watch features a cock movement with a verge escapement. It has a white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, a black minutes track with Arabic numerals for every five minutes, a winding opening at 2 o’clock, and decorative hands. The case is 18 carat gold and decorated with a three tone gold fighting dogs scene.
