Unsigned gold enamel open faced pocket watch

A French two tone 18 carat gold open faced pocket watch with polychrome enamel painted scene, made in the second half of the 18th century. The movement features a verge escapement and a wheel of meeting, with a chain and fusee. It has a white enamel dial adorned with painted Roman numerals and outer railway minute divisions. The case is made of two tone 18 carat gold, and the back is decorated with a miniature painted polychrome enamel depicting a pastoral scene. The finely chased case band is embellished with leafy friezes.
