A fine, rare verge pocket watch, Oignon, with alarm, circa 1700. Silver case with lavishly engraved bezel and pierced back cover with chased decoration. Enamel dial with radial Roman hours, central alarm disc, Fleur de Lys hands. Full plate keywind movement with applied oral decorations, fire gilt, signed. Chain/fusee, baluster movement pillars, one hammer, four-arm brass balance, silver engraved and pierced balance bridge with shell work.
