A very fine and small French pocket watch, made by Abraham Louis Breguet, circa 1820.
18 carat gold engine turned case with case design “quatre baguettes”, silver band and a numbered and signed gold dome. Silver engine turned dial with inlaid radial Roman numerals on the peripheral chapter ring and blued Breguet hands. Frosted gilt bridge movement, keywind, with ruby cylinder escapement, three-arm gold balance and shock protection-parachute.
