A German very heavy Ankerchronometer watch, system Glashütte, circa 1900.
Engine turned 14 carat gold “a goutte” case, with 3 gold lids, the dome inscribed Syst. Glashütte no.185510 and engraved 4 Olympic Medailles; Ankerchronometer movement with lever escapement, fine adjusting device and screwed gold chatons; original white enamel dial with Roman hours, Arabic minutes, sunk subsidiary dial for the seconds and gold Louis XV hands with jewels. Matching numbers on the case and movement.
