A fine, heavy Glashütte hunting cased pocket watch, circa 1900. This watch features a 14 carat rose gold case with a tiered and polished design, adorned with a monogram. The case design is Louis XV à goutte with a gold dome and a glazed movement. The enamel dial is signed and showcases Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, a red 24-hour indicator, and gold Louis XV hands. The frosted gilt 3/4 plate movement boasts screwed gold chatons, a gold screw compensation balance, and a lavishly engraved balance cock with entwined leaves. It also has an index spring fine-adjusting device, as well as a gold lever and escape wheel.
