A fine German, 14K pink gold keyless pocket watch, circa 1900. A polished case, the back cover engine-turned. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. A frosted gilt, 3/4 plate movement, 15 jewels, straight-line Glashütte lever escapement, gold escape wheel and lever, banking in a pinhole, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
