A very fine German 14 Carat rose gold hunting cased Glashütte lever pocket watch, circa 1900. Frosted gilt 3/4 plate movement, gold screw compensation balance, index spring, fine adjusting device, gold lever and escape wheel.
Black champlevé enamelled case, on the front Flora, the goddess of flowers and the season of spring, standing on a pedestal with a flowered sceptre in her hand surrounded with flower scrolls and garlands, the back decorated with matching ornaments and a vase with flowers in the center, against the black enamel background, the fine gold motif appears almost three dimensional, the band engraved with tendrils. Gold dome. White enamel dial with Arabic hours, outer minute divisions, auxiliary seconds, gold Louis XV hands.
Dial signed, case numbered, movement signed and numbered. Comes with the original presentation box and an original certificate.
