A very fine early gold full hunter cased watch in best quality 1A, made by Adolph Lange in Dresden, Germany, circa 1870. The à goutte full hunter case of this watch is crafted from 18 carat gold, is knurled on both sides and has a monogram on the front lid. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and filigree steel hands. The numbered very fine movement, very early 1A lever escapement with diamond end stone, screwed gold chatons, a gold lever and a gold escape wheel.
Case and movement have matching numbers and dial and movement are signed.
