A rare Dresden silver open faced key wind pocket watch with regulator dial and calendar, circa 1800.
Gilt florally engraved full plate movement, solid movement pillars, cylinder escapement, oversized five armed brass balance, signed balance cock. White enamel dial, eccentric chapter ring with Roman hours, centre seconds, chapter rings for indication of the date and weekday, polychrome flower decoration, filigree hands. Polished case, case maker’s punch mark WX, large lateral hinge.
