A very fine, heavy Glashuette hunting case pocket watch, ANKERCHRONOMETER  sold 1884 for the sum of 512 Marks manufactured in quality 1A, circa 1884. 18k gold case, tiered, polished, case design “Louis XV à goutte”, gold dome, glazed movement, large lateral hinge. Enamel dial, radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, blued spade hands. 3/4 plate movement, frosted, gilt, screwed gold chatons, large gold screw compensation balance, orally hand-engraved balance cock, gold lever and escape wheel, diamond endstone on balance.
