A very fine and heavy anker chronometer made by Abram Henri Guyot in France, circa 1870. The plain open faced case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold and is of high quality, it has reeded bezels on both sides. The white enamel dial has Roman hours, an outer minute track, Arabic five minute numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and very fine original golden hands. The movement has an anker chronometer escapement of excellent quality, a large chronometer balance wheel and wolf’s teeth.
