A very fine, rare and attractive English 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond set Renaissance filigree watch case with later movement and dial (circa 1750), circa 1650. Later gilt finished verge movement, chain fusée, pierced and engraved floral decorated balance cock and foot, diamond endstone. Later white enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer Arabic five minute divisions. Case with diamond set, white and black enamel scroll decorated split bezel, filigree case back with diamond set, black and white enamel floral decoration in high relief, later pendant, unsigned. Movement signed.
