A fine, rare Swiss gold, enamel and diamond set folding lorgnette with concealed watch, circa 1850. Gilt finished cylinder movement. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, concealed under a spring loaded cover and opened by sliding a button in the handle. Lorgnette form case with diamond set foliate decoration in black champlevé enamel, the folded lorgnette released by sliding a spring catch in the band.
