Unusual gold complicated watch by Reymond Deshayes

A fine, rare and unusual French 18 carat gold hunting cased quarter repeating perpetual calendar keyless lever watch with retrograde date, circa 1870. Movement attributed to Louis Audemars. Gilt finished lever movement, 31 jewels, cut bimetallic balance, wolf’s tooth winding, repeating on two hammers onto two gongs. Gold cuvette engraved Reymond Deshayes Contreau Succr. 36 Boulevard des Italiens 36 Paris. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, gold spade hands, outer Arabic five minute divisions, four subsidiary dials for fly back date, day, month and constant seconds, aperture for moon phases. Plain case, repeating slide in the band, hinged back. Cuvette signed Reymond Deshayes and numbered.
