The combination of the rare layout of this split seconds watch and its Art Deco Murat enamel decorated case indicates that the present watch is likely to be a unique piece and perhaps a special order. Patek Philippe produced a variety of regulator dial styles for Tiffany. The present watch, with a small central meantime dial and split seconds calibrations indicated on the main chapter ring, has not been seen before and it is thought that each example has a different layout.
