A fine and slim French 18 carat gold, enamel and pearl set open faced verge watch, circa 1820. Gilt finished slim full plate verge movement, chain fusée, engraved and pierced balance cock. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals. Translucent blue enamel hinged case back with polychrome enamel and pearl set classic scene with two figures at a fountain with a child, translucent white and blue enamel decorated back rim and pendant, translucent blue enamel and pearl set band, plain bezel. Dial and movement signed.
